Return to Drive using +

While reading about another brand of car it said if you downshift from drive to a lower gear or more you don't have to keep shifting back up to in our case 8th gear from say 3rd. Just hold the + lever for about a second or two and it automatically goes back to Drive. I don't remember ever seeing that in the manual.

My Jeep is the same way with its slap stick kinda shifting, just like the Camaro with its paddle shift, and it seems like most vehicles with paddle shift are in line with that as well.

Pssh. We're men, who reads manuals? jk.

I also learned of that trick through the forums. It doesn't necessarily go back up to D mode but it takes you to the highest possible gear. The same goes for the - paddle if you want to head into the lowest possible gear
