Out with the old, in with the new
Swapped out used up Trofeos for Nitto NT01s yesterday. I am curious to see how they will compare on the track, and should find out next Thursday. I like the aggressive tread pattern. I also did an alignment to get some more negative camber.

305s or 325s?
I am using 305s currently on the fronts and I like them, much better feedback and I don't run over to the sidewalls like the trofeos. |

If you are into lap times they will be slower, but last longer. They come up to temp within 1-2 laps, don't go balls out 1st lap, just increase intensity gradually, and the best part....you can swap the tire on the wheel halfway through its wear cycle for more tire wear and it has ZERO effect on the way the car drives.

Yes really would like to know the sizes. If they are 305's do they look narrower than the Trofeo's

They are 305s, and I thought they looked slightly wider than the Trofeos. I hate to give up lap time, but I am willing to give up a little for longer life... only got three track days out of the Trofeos. I now have -2.1 camber on the front after having only -1.5 so I hope that helps both wear and performance. I know my best lap times on a couple tracks so it will be interesting to compare.

You found NT01's? I thought they were on backorder everywhere. Let us know how they do. I love NT01's.

Yes, I ordered them through the dealer and got a good price, I thought. They said they had to convince them that they were for a track car to get them though, the order bounced the first time.
