Few questions about my Camaro
I'm new to cars, purchasing my 2017 SS has spiked my interest of course however I have some questions for those of you who may be gear heads. This is my first manual transmission, so I was wondering if anyone could explain gear ratios, and what the gear ratio on a 2017 SS Is? Also, I was wondering how everyone thinks the black bowties with the red outlines look on the all black camaro like the one I won. 2 more questions, how can I default my car to start up in track mode, and what exhausts do you all own? I'm leaning towards the borla s type. Thank you all!

Hello,
The manual transmission likes to be shifted around 1800 to 2k rpms when putting about (defeating the skip shift with the switch is wonderful) but well before hitting red line, least you are in for a serious awakening; don't ask me how I know. Third and fourth are tall for the stock horse power, said Randy Pobst (don't hate). I roll along in 3rd up to about 30, 4th up to about 45, and 5th up to 60 on the flats. Above 60 I use 6th. Below 20, I use second. Your experiences may differ. Kindest, Donner |

Think I'm going to get the borla s type payback with npp. It says it doesn't include dual mode valves what are those exactly?

Also catback or axle back for a borla S type? I've been told I may not have the horses for a catback? It's all a foreign language to me honestly

If your car has the NPP dual mode it will start with the valves open. Save your $ and stick with OEM for a while.
I shift my car anywhere from 1600 to 2800 rpm while driving in traffic. From a dead stop try gently giving throttle- these cars have torque... you can just let cluthch out gently and stay in 2-3 and city driving is fine. Highway only use 6th above 70 is my suggestion.

Suspension will default back to tour if left in track mode. You can set your exhaust to track in mylink settings.
