Reverse midlife crisis!

Had a reverse midlife crisis after my 36th Birthday in January. Decided I needed to find something practical and useful. Last Saturday, I took the plunge and bought a fairly base model '17 F-150 (XL, STX). Love my new truck. It's been a fun 6 or 7 years, but I think my Raider is enough fun for me.

Momma didn't bronze my shoes, but when I turned 16 I inherited a lead foot.

Ford does make a killer shade of blue.

I hope it's better ergonomically then my 2016 Explorer Interceptor. I'd like to punch the interior designer in the face. The pedals are off set to the right, so I have to turn my feet and the "dead pedal" is bumped over to the right as well for a hump in the floorboard. It can't be for the front tire as it's not that far back. Terrible design.

I hope to never have the reverse moment......turned 50 last August. Have had 2 Camaros and WS-6 as my daily driver since '93. Looking at a "practical" car if we make a move on a Grand Sport with the Z07 package. Wife loves trucks and SUV's, so we have it covered.

I ordered my '10 SS at 67 eight years ago. 74 now and still enjoying it every time
I take it out. I agree with frankwjr, the Camaro definitely turns back the clock with
each drive. I can't imagine ever letting it go.

I 'think' I went through my mid-life crisis at the end of 2014 through the beginning of last year. I started off building a mancave, then pimping out the garage, then buying a Harley, and then finished it off by buying a ZL1. Hopefully, I wait a little longer before I tell the wife we are going to be buying some dirt bikes

The guys driving Rustangs need something that will start and the Camaro guys are always driving theirs, so their Ford pick ups can sit.

56 here and have been accused of having a few mid-life crises since turning 30, the last time was when I purchased my SS

Fortunately, since getting married some 37 years ago, we've always managed to have at least one sensible/practical vehicle and one not so much (a toy)
