Exclamation Roto-fab CAI development has begun!

We are excited to announce the start of our 2017 ZL1 air intake development! As you may know, Roto-fab has a strong reputation for performance and quality. Having released truly outstanding systems for both the 5th gen ZL1 and 6th gen SS, the 2017 ZL1 was a clear next step for us.

We currently have a prototype system in the car being test-fitted. I will post some pictures of the R&D system after proper fitment is confirmed!

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments!

We haven't ruled out the idea of a V6 system. But to be completely honest, we do not have a timeline for the project.

I will put you on my list for V6 notifications, but it may be a few months before we make any advancements. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

1. What are the expected gains?
2. Weight savings?
3. Tune or no tune?
4. Thank you.

We have not estimated gains, but I can tell you our 5th gen ZL1 CAI has shown gains of 25+ HP with no tune. Our 6th gen CAI has shown gains of 40+ HP on multiple supercharged builds as well!

I will look into the weight difference, which may change as development continues.

We plan to offer a true "no tune required" system.

Pictures coming soon!

Cool. I had one on my 13 ZL1. Sound was amazing for sure. Thanks!

We don't quite expect to see 40 on the ZL1, but gains in the 40 hp range have been common on high horsepower FI builds!
