Not sure what happened. They are walking distance to my house and I went to stop over today and they were gone. Unexpected.

So who should I use for tuning? Definitely want the E85 option.

Matt has always been a shady dude...I know people who have known him a long time. Man, do I have stories...I would NEVER let that dude within ten feet of my car. His old shop in NJ went bankrupt too and F'd over many, and his first "store" was in his momma's basement...

Thank you. I hadn't heard anything bad about that company or Matt. They had tons of work and were recognized in the major Vette magazines. Still, if anyone knows what happened, I'd love to know.

No, Matt Sorian (spelling may be off). He used to own TT Performance in NJ, and sold parts on Long Island years ago. I knew he was a slime bucket way back then.

Looks like the rumor is bankrupt. Odd, seemed like he had more customers than he could handle. I liked Matt. Always willing to help and give advice and spend some time with me talking about options for the Camaro.

This is the most probable reason they went under. Even though many of these customers may have paid a deposit on parts, or paid for parts up front, the majority of the revenue doesn't get paid until the car is done. In the meantime, the shop has overhead and employees to pay, not to mention probably a running accounts payable ledger from vendors.

Too much work means the time line gets drawn out, so the revenue doesn't come in fast enough, the line of credit dries up, and people need to get paid. Just from reading, it seems that they had more than a few cars disassembled collecting dust, seems like he was trying to run a big shop on a small shop budget. As talented as they might have been, it takes more than that to run a successful business.

That seems very plausible. I had stopped by quite a bit and there were all sorts of cars collecting dust outside. One of the customer's 04 GTO had been in and out of the shop for over a year without working the way it should have.
