Loving my 2SS!

I went to test drive a new Silverado and a new Camaro SS for a couple reasons...

I have a 63' Nova SS convertible project(long term project, even longer now!) and I wanted to see if I liked the Gen V motor enough to justify it over an LS3.

There is also a company here in Vegas that has a 50 state legal LS swap for Jeep Wranglers and recently completed a Gen V swap.
By the time my Rubicon will be paid off it will be about ready for a motor. While it is expensive, it is still much cheaper than a new Jeep and I've done a few mods to mine that I don't want to redo...

I guess you can say I was impressed!

This car is so much fun!! ...and it is still docile enough that my wife can drive it without worry.

Looking forward to seeing all the available mods and already obsessed with all the wheel and tire combos people are running.

Congrats ! Cool projects you have and have planned ! I was totally impressed too. I was glad I did not test drive the car until the discounts were in place

Congrats! I just did tint, clear bra and stripes. Working on performance type upgrades now, starting with tires, then CAI and exhaust...then I am sure I will just have to get some 1LE MRR wheels

Honestly the discount was the deciding factor. This car is about the same payment as the plain Ram 1/2 ton we traded in.

Nice! I wanted a silver car but there weren't any with the discount and my wife REALLY wanted red since we just missed out on a red 2012 Corvette a week earlier. Silver is on my short list for the Nova anyways...
Dealerships typically tint windows here (so they can charge you extra for it), but we might go darker.

Funny...the rack on my Jeep in the background is made by Frontrunner. When I saw your name I thought they were on here. No matter how bad ass their racks are I just couldn't picture one on this car!
