Camaro is going in tomorrow for a software update so that I can pair my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

I've read good and bad about the MyLink software and how it is flaky. So far, I've had no issues and if I do after the upgrade, that's why I love my dealership and have a warranty :-)

Do you have Nav? Are you updating to include Android Auto? If so I'd be very interested in how it goes.

Dealership got my car right now over night for Andriod Auto update and black glow tie installation. It was suppose to been a few hours drop off but they called later and said keep the loaner car because it wont be ready until tomorrow.

I had this done a couple weeks after getting mine. I have nav and although it took all day, everything worked great after.

When did this update come out. Mine has been working flawlessly with android auto.

I was wondering the same thing. Is this another update from the original update most peeps got earlier this year?

In my case, the dealer had not done the update to add Android Auto when I bought it in late May of this year.

I guess the old addage applies...if it ain't broke don't fix it. However, I had it done a couple weeks ago and it works just fine...I guess. I don't have music on my phone and I'm not sure what apps are useful and work well. We should have a thread for that on the forum

I use Pandora, I Heart Radio, Spotify, Amazon, and Google Player. Plus with the 1 year of Sirus radio I never run out of music unless I hit a dead spot.

Then there is the nice little convenience of touching the voice icon, saying restaurants, and having the infortainment system google all the restaurants close to you, or doing the same thing with gas station, or mentioning a hotel you are looking for. All of that will be great when I do my road trips.

Bought mine in July has android auto works flawlessly so far. Is there a way to check what version you have if so; what is the latest version people have?

Yes, I have Nav too.

Just got back from the dealership and the upgrade went smoothly. Took a little longer than 30 minutes, but works great. Now when I plug my phone in USB, the icon on the MyLink turns to Android Auto.

Was able to respond to Google Hangout messages with voice and use Google Maps on the way home.

I can post pics later for those curious on the screen and software version.

Good to know. I had brought mine in to the dealer for the update, but was told there was none available for me. Guess I'll be trying a different place.
