DSC Suspension Controller

Has anyone heard if the DSC Sport Suspension Controller will be available for our MRC equipped Camaros? I see it's available for the 'vettes and I thought it might be a good option for those of us that will miss out on the 1LE:

Would be pretty cool. I just watched this today on the Corvette one:

DSC Sport has taken years of racing experience and turned it into one product: The DSC Sport Controller. This computer taps into adaptive suspension systems in high-end sports cars, and turns them from passive systems into active systems, which respond not only to road conditions, but also to driver inputs. This leads to better performance on the road and track. This 2016 Corvette Z06 is completely stock except for upgraded brake pads, upgraded cooling system, and DSC's sport controller mated to the stock adaptive suspension.

This would be a game changer for the 5th & 6th Gen ZL1's if they can get it to work in our cars.

Good find.

Agreed.

I contacted them and they replied that by Feb of 2017 they plan on supporting Camaros as well.

It is, but a controller like that would work based on a grid map. In order for the to function on each application vehicle, the company needs to measure specific dynamics of the target car. This means that the SS/MRC would be a different map than the 1LE or ZL1 due to differences in weight, factory springs rates, sway bar stiffness and weight distribution.

Sadly, this controller competes directly with aftermarket products and they may advise against using their product with track oriented upgrades that change to much of their predicted behaviors that led to their input mapping.

Maybe if the DSC has a long adjustment range, then there may be settings in there that work well enough for lowered, tighter and heavier (power adder) SS's.

The DSC is user adjustable via laptop, like using HP Tuners, only for the shocks

This, to me, is one of the coolest things coming out for our car.

Next version said to have wireless connectivity per 'Vette forums. Hopefully that release will coincide with the Camaro release.

I contacted DSC in July and they said that they're working with a Camaro owner to develop a controller for our car they obviously didn't provide a timeline or what exactly will be released, but it's promising.

Tentative release date is end of February.

Peruse the new tuning manual:
