Back up camera

I feel like the camera on my back up camera is not as clear as it could be. I took it to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with the sensor and the images I see are as good as they are going to get. It Could just be me. what could I use to clean the camera to try to make it clearer? I didn't want to use the wrong solution and mess it up. What's cleaner is good to use on the Camaro back up camera? Thanks in advance

I always make a habit of just wiping the lens which is right above the license plate. Other than that, it won't be HD clear.

Do the same & agree they are not HD. IMO the cameras that Chevy puts in their vehicles must be the cheapest they can find. I installed an aftermarket camera in my Vette and even my wife noticed right away that it was a lot clearer & sharper then cameras in our Camaro and Traverse

Does it still show the yellow and red overlay guides?

Mine is 4 years old and still clear. I clean the lense about once a week with pledge.

Yes ... here's a couple pics of the one I installed in my Vette; the screen shot was taken in the morning and, as you can see in the upper left corner, the sun was shinning towards the camera and it was still clear. When I back my Camaro out in the mornings (around the same the pic was taken) the screen is almost completely blocked out from the glare. Seriously thinking about replacing the ones in my Camaro & wife's Traverse with the same one ..

{Before anyone says anything; my driveway does have a pretty good slope to it, but, due to primarily using the camera when backing into parking spaces, I have adjusted the camera to view objects lower & closer to the rear.}
