stabilitrak and reduced power mode

I got the stabilitrak error and reduced power this weekend, to start off the car is at the dealer, no mods, 10k miles. we did have decent rain this weekend.

I havent seen anywhere where this combination occurs in my search so is there anything i should be concerned with in dealing with the dealer?

Not a noise or squeak in the motor. Hood has been up, runs smooth so i donth think anything is wrong with the motor.....

also want to add that the reduced power will clear but the cel does not....reduced power had come and gone about 5 times in the last couple days and went into limp mode as i pulled into the dealer (talk about luck!!!!!!)

The same happened to me. I even opened a new thread about this. It should be covered under warranty, I would guess.

Small, but effective mod list:

Roto-Fab Intake, TSP 2" Long tubes, TSP catless mids, MSD spark plug wires, stock catback, Elite Catch Can, APEX washer relocation and scoop, VMAX throttle body, Diablo InTune-Tuned by Matt@FSP, and a JacFab license plate bracket.

same here.. a bunch of similar threads regarding the VTC. Also had same issue when tuning my car ( cam, intake, TB, rotofab etc. ) Mine was associated to the reading from the throttle body MAP and MAF.

The stabilink system will opt out when there is a voltage problem, and reduced power may mean your spark is not optimal for full combustion. I would guess a failing battery cell or problem with the charging system. Have your battery and charging system load tested. Even when the car is running the battery acts as a voltage buffer.

OP stated he has "no mods". Don't know that you can pin this one on a VTC.
