1 Month of Ownership Review

Today 1/5/2016 I have had my 2016 Camaro 2SS for exactly 1 Month. Wanted to share my thoughts and review of the new model!

Honestly night and day to my 5thgen got 800 miles on it already, Power and Handling are by far superior as the car holds the road in the corners better and you can push it further! Interior is on another level they are the most comfortable seats I have ever set in even better than the C7 stingray in my eyes. Also love that they are both heated and cooled! One of my favorite things is the heated steering wheel which I use everyday no matter the temp outside. My absolute favorite part about the whole car is the Mode Selector with a push of a button the whole vehicle changes. Changes suspension, throttle response, exhaust note, steering, and feel of the whole vehicle. Than you get to the 24 different color changing LEDs and car show mode that you can play with for hours! It's like you never need to leave your car anymore! Than having an iPhone with ApplePlay it makes it more interactive and easier to connect with people both text and call. New HUD in all color with 4 different screens, and 18 different center screen on the LED display between the gauges. Also 3 different display themes for those 18 screens. Honestly chevrolet hit it out of the park with this new 2016 and worth every penny so far including the gas mileage Iv been getting as well on the LT1 V8 with the new 8 Speed Automatic with smooth and deceive shift points! So far my best is 27.3 mpg highway using cruise control and I know I can get better if I travel further. Breaking is soft and very responsive. Love that you can track your 0-60 inside the driver seat or even your 1/4 mile, 0-100, or customize what speed you want to track! Car sounds mean and I can't help but smile when you hear the pops and backfire! Honestly thought that it would be harder to drive due to the blindspots but with the techonolgy in the mirrors and the blind side alert system and 8 inch backup camera it has actually made it easier to drive than my 5thgen! The tires are sticky and haven't had any understeer unless I wanted to push it and turned off the MNC and traction. Nothing like behind behind the wheel and knowing there isn't much out there that can compete with you! Haven't been tested yet... Still waiting

Funny you mention the heated steering wheel. I wouldn't have added it if it were a stand alone option, but I figured I might try it once or twice... you really like it that much? Seems like my hands aren't the part that gets cold... my butt (really, my core) is.

Didn't realize there were themes for the dash display. That's very cool. All screenshots I've seen so far all look the same.

Three different themes for the dash...Standard,Technology, and Music (I think is the last one)

Media is the third at least in mine.

Also I like the Technology screen, just wish it showed the album art like the other modes do.

Nice review. I see you got the Camaro console armrest. Is that stitched with grey or white? Does it match with the ceramic white interior? I'm considering ordering one. Could you take a few photos to it? Thanks!
