Why is there no lumbar support?

Does anyone know why there's no lumbar support even as an option?

Agree it does seem odd, especially in the 2LT/2SS models, with all the other goodies.

That said, Wifey and I both have bad backs, and once we adjusted the seats, we didn't feel that was lacking.

There is an unequal amount of good and bad in most things, the trick is to work out the ratio and act accordingly.

It's not that the seats are bad but if you ever sat in a BMW 2 Series you would say those seats are terrific. The seats had manual leg extensions with lumbar support and even more bolstered than the 2016 Camaro seats.

The 5th gen doesn't either.....

I understand people wanting it, but it isn't like the deleted from the previous generation

100% should be added in the SS models at the very least.

I agree but then they add a gimmick like a light show. It just seems weird that they prioritize a light show demo over lumbar support.

I have it on my current ride, but honestly after playing with it 4 years ago, I never touch it.

Same. It's like power adjustable pedals.

Hard to believe it's not an option.

If I had a bad back, I would already be wearing a brace therefore eliminating the need for lumbar support. It does suck for people who would love to have such troubles, my wife had back surgery I know how much PITA it is. Expecting on a camaro to have such feature is a bit too much... However, a 2SS does have more goodies than a 3LT c7 ZO7... lol.

Being a 6'5" giant, even if I wanted this, it is always in the wrong spot for my back. I always hope cars with them allow me to make them go away.

My DD is an Infiniti M37x, and I'd need both hands to count the number of buttons and switches / adjustments for my seats that I have access to.

Like I said, the 2SS seats were fine after I adjusted them to my liking.

Are they the best seats I've ever sat in? Hell no.
Are they better than the ones in an executive saloon from Infiniti? Nope.
Could they be better for the 2LT/2SS money? Sure. (but that could be said about tons of things)
Now that I've spent time sitting in them, would it stop me from buying this car. Nope, wouldn't even be a thought.

100% truth. Wife and I set the seats in the M37x and I don't think we've touched them in 4+ years. I couldn't even tell you at what level the lumbar adjustment is set to (it's an airbag type, that I remember).
