tuning ?'s

So brought my car to be tuned a month ago or so ago, then last weekend took it to the track. The tune shop performed the tune on EFI live. The car was not at peak performance as I fell a little jerkiness while making the pass. Was thinking of getting HP tuner. If I was to get HP tuner will I be able to retrieve the tune that was done at the shop if its not locked and be able to make the small adjustment on fuel to make the car run clean all the way through the RMP. Or is it a case of having to write the tune all over from scratch when I purchase the HP tuner?

Did you datalog the run? Any good tuner should help adjust the initial tune with some datalogs to see where the issue is. Try talking to your tuner first.

No don't have a system to data log. Thinking HP tuners but might have to do EFI Live. This is why I was wondering if HP tuners will work

yeah hptuners will work, unless you've done a custom os system that EFI offers.. And make sure they didn't lock the tune.. Let me know if you need a hand!
