XA coilovers not lowering??

Hello,

Has anyone run Pedders XA coil overs on their car? I bought some for mine but the rear sits higher than stock with the adjustment at the lowest setting. I bought these used and tried contacting pedders with no luck. Don't know what could possibly be happening here I did all the pre-load right and everything. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Thanks

You need to take loose the bottom locking ring and thread the tube down into the mount, you would turn the top locking ring clockwise to lower the vehicle. Make sure the car is jacked up so no weight is on the coil over you are adjusting

I did that but the tube hits the inside bottom of the holder and it doesn't let it go down any further. This being the lowest setting, right before it hits the bottom of the holder, i put the car down and the ride height is higher than stock. I understand you drive it and it settles but its not gonna go down 4" lol Didn't have a problem with the front ones its just these back ones that are giving me trouble. I appreciate the help though, thanks.

Sorry im not sure then, only thing I can think of is the rears have the wrong tube on them. I believe the front tubes are longer then the rears.. Did you have them all apart and maybe mixed the tubes up

can you post a pic of the coilover and how you have it set up? How much tension is on the spring perch holding the spring in place?

Make sure your rear shock mounts aren't up-side down

Figured out my issue guys..... turns out I have a kit for a G8 not a 5th gen. monotubes are different lengths therefore limiting the adjustment margin. I appreciate all the input guys!
