Any suggestions or opinions on what type of oil and filters?

This stuff works great and is readily available.

I feel like that was a joke about the 7/11 oil (I hope). I know a lot of people don't think royal purple is worth it but didn't know if there was better technology I might be missing out on.

Transmissions, transfer cases and diff's are all running Amsoil though, I've considered switching everything to amsoil, I do like their stuff but the lack of local dealers keeps me buying M1, shipping gets expensive.

Ok I appreciate the input, a few years ago someone told me a story about a engine rebuild that only ran castrol and had a lot gummed up junk. Not sure if there was any truth to it.

Nothing wrong with what it came with Mobil 1 and Walmart usually has good pricing on the 5qt jugs like 24$. I use Wix Filters for all my vehicles.

I run Mobile 1 full synthetic and use an AC Delco PF48 filter.
