Warranty Question?

Should I remove my VTC before getting a free oil change at my dealership? I dont want them to see that I have it and try to pull and shit, any one have any idea if it matters just when im getting my oil changed? Its mounted right above my steering wheel so its the first thing anyone will see in the drivers seat. Thanks guys.

I left it on when I took my car in for some transmission linkage recall. The service advisor asked what it was and what it did. I explained it to him and he didn't say anything about voiding the warranty.

Best thing to do is change oil yourself.

Exactly. It's so easy and gives you piece of mind. Change it yourself and be sure it was done right, with good products.

They won't even know what it is. If they ask, say its a radar detector

Its doesn't increase power so there is no reason why it would void any warranty. If a cai doesn't affect warranty a throttle controller shouldn't.

As part of my sale I got 4 years of free oil changes from the dealership so I feel compelled to use them.

they call the blend synthetic. does it say full synthetic? The VTC wont void your warranty so dont bother. just put it in the lowest setting though.

I feel compelled to use the "free" included oil changes as well...but I might just do it myself with Mobil 1. I'd rather have the peace of mind knowing it was actually done and done right. I also don't want some dude readjusting my seat, frying my clutch, stalling, etc. etc.
