The difference between a SS & Z28?

For 30K what exactly is the difference? And why wouldn't you just by a corvette for the same price?

biggest difference is a different engine. LS7 in the z28. as for why not buy a vette, some people might want to use the back seat of the Camaro, even if it is almost nonexistent. lol

other things off the top of my head, it's a lot faster, it's lighter. just overall a better car. (z28 vs SS)

DOOOOOD!!!!
This is the exact same thing i told my son when we went car shopping and he wanted me to get the ZL1 instead of the SS.

I told him that for that amount of money his dad would question my judgement as to why i didn't come home with a corvette!

Between the LS7 and the carbon ceramic brake pkg you're already getting close to that $30K. If I'm not mistaken, the brake pkg is cloe to if not $20K? Then throw in suspension, tires, wheels, and yeah $30K more is about right.

Why not buy a Corvette instead? Good question, and I believe the answer lies strictly in personal taste. I would love either, and if I hit it big, I'd have both in heartbeat.

This is exactly my case. My wife is fine that I buy a manual, but she will not approve a two-seater. Yes, I am p#$$y whooped.

Plain and simple the z28 is a super car killer!!! It is built as a track car where as the ss is a very nice sports car.

Its about 3830 without the radio and A/C though. You're still technically right.
