Our alternate rides
So as I'm sitting at my desk planning out my fall/winter mods I thought I'd start a thread showing off our "alternate" rides that we use while our pride and joys sit warm and covered. For those that drive Camaro's year round, I applaud you all and can't help but remember my first Camaro (a 1977 yellow Camaro) that I drove everyday for 4 years through sun, rain and snow (I got stuck on RT 95 with this car during the Blizzard of `78 and had to leave it for days). Anyway, here's my 2013 GMC Yukon Denali XL.

Nice truck. Blizzard of '78- lol. I barely made it home from work on the N.Y. LIE. I stored my '10 SS for the first two years as I had a 2006 Impala. I found that keeping a 2nd car around was just too expensive. Between Ct taxes, insurance, repairs, etc, it really made no sense. Definitely a luxury if you can do it. I have all season tires on the Camaro and can let it sit in the garage if the weather is bad. The wife has a 4x4 Honda Pilot if the water is bad.

My 05 Silverado. This thing feels like a bus after driving the car all summer. Can't wait to drive the car agian.

I drive the first brand new car that i ever owned during the winter. A 2008 hyundai elantra. this is the only pic i have of it, it was taken the day i picked it up at the dealer.

 Have a company supplied car for every day 2008 Impala and the wife has her year round car a 1992 Olds Cutluss Supreme SL Coupe. Purchased it from one of the girls that works in our office. Was her Dad's car originally always garaged and maintained. All the toys are in the box for the winter till spring. Car runs like a clock

Bought my 99 wrangler bone stock when i graduated highschool 6 years ago and it has turned into my winter "beater" custom 10" long arm suspension sitting on 40" mud grapplers. Has a built 4.0 straight six only 97k on the jeep
 it also helps having a company truck lol

2014 Ram 1500 Express HEMI 4x4...caught the mod bug with this one too... Back Rack, toolbox, magnaflow muffler, tinted windows and lights, debadged, stubby antena, splash gaurds, side steps, remote starter and a dual liner bed liner
