Considering selling my car to buy a Hellcat ***Ordered***
What does everyone think? What do you think I could sell my car for? I have a 2010 SLP ZL550 w/32,000 miles would be back to stock except for cam conversion. I would be selling all my mods separately. Pic in avatar

I think that you're running after the New Hot Thing. Chasing the Superlative in automobiles will empty your bank account pretty quick, but counting your money is your concern, not mine.

I'm definitely trading in my car for the 2016 year Hellcat.
It all depends on my trade-in value as well. I'm not going to low ball myself. Good luck OP! |

Throwing good money after bad. There is always something faster or better. IMO, the Camaro is a nicer looking car and a SLP550 is a little unique. Challengers don't handle. On street tires the GTR, Turbo S Porsche, and some others will smoke that thing in a straight line, top speed and the road course.

However that said I'd get a z/28 instead. But I do love the looks of the Challenger.

If you really want it you don't have to ask other peoples opinions.

Why not ? Life is short enough anyway, but this 2nd muscle car era will only last so long. If the money part makes sense, go for it !

Get what you want, you don't need our approval. I am not saying anything bad about the hellcat and I am sure it is going to be a great car. IMHO if I had the money I would still buy a ZL1 over the Hellcat.

I'm getting one for sure. I've been waiting for this day for a long time. I've always liked the looks of the Challenger the best. Now that it finally has the performance that it deserves, this is a no brainer for me. Go for it and don't look back. It will be a great car for sure.
