Dealership Quick Lube for Oil Changes?
Has anyone had their dealership quick lube department do their oil changes?
I ask because I am just about ready to hit the magical 1500 mile mark. Since I have the free 2 year maintenance program I thought I would save the money and have the dealer do it. Here is where it goes south. I call my service department, who have been fantastic up to this point, and tell them I need to set an appointment for an oil change. I was disappointed when he transferred me to quick lube. In typical fashion of any quick lube employee the guy just worries me. So I ask if they are familiar with the ZL1. The guy says "yea....we do the 1's, the 2's, the 3's". So I guess I am changing my own oil! |

My dealership does all their own oil changes. Our cars aren't so exotic that an oil change requires a deviation of any significance from a standard camaro, I believe. |
