It's definitely nice to have options, but that thing is probably only suitable to the most serious drag racers!!! It says it only comes with a "Spool"!!! From what I've heard, those are not good for street-use.

I am sure they would offer different options with the 9" or the 12 bolt. Hopefully Strange will follow with the Copo set up too.

The COPO setup is not a bolt in deal, plus it is COPO proprietary and not available except in the COPO Camaro

If the M9 housing is standard, I'm guessing $5-7K.

I put 30k DD miles on a spooled car one time. Its no were near as bad as most think. Everyone that rode in that car around town was surprised as they thought it would be terrible turning but no.

I agree my 69 had a spool in it and it wasn't as bad as most think.

But wait a minute, I thought all the COPO components were supposed to be "available" over-the-counter?!?!?!? That was supposed to be one of the big attractions to this whole COPO program!?!?!? I know it's not a "Bolt-In", but they do sell the brackets and mounting hardware necessary to mount the COPO rear end in any 5th Gen Camaro. I would think if you went to Strange and opened up your wallet wide enough, surely you could buy the same rear end set-up that is in the COPO?!?!? But, who knows, maybe I'm wrong. Either way, this Moser set-up is Bad-Ass.....just way more than I'll ever need!!! Should be some good deals coming down the road from guys selling their 9" conversions to upgrade to this.....I suppose I'll just wait for their "scraps"!!!! Hahahaha!!!
