Drink a beer today in honor of being able to drink a beer!
On this day eighty years ago Nationwide Prohibition ended with the ratification of the Twenty-first Amendment, which repealed the Eighteenth Amendment (Prohibition) making the Volstead Act obsolete. Truly a triumphant day in American history.
So in celebration, enjoy a drink today and post a picture of your chosen libation. |

Unfortunately, it is no longer imported into the US, so I have to go to England to enjoy, booo.
It is known as "K," a very dry cider, 6.9% came in 22oz bottles. We used to have a game- Drink one full bottle within 1 minute, then you have 5 minutes to finish another full bottle. This game tended to get the party rolling.

That^ has been my choice recently but I also enjoy most anything Spaten has to offer and have a wide variety of IPA's I usually choose from. The huge amounts of micro brews in San Diego is awesome.
