Tackling ROTO-FAB CAI &
With the help of a friend we plan on installing the ROTO-FAB CAI, Big Gulp & WW relocation tomorrow afternoon. Doesn't look like rocket science. Anything i should look out for? Read plenty of the install threads here already. Watched the videos and have the written instructions. Couldn't find a video on the WW.

Also check the fitting on the bottom of the tube. I think i remember needing tape and make sure its all the way in there.

Check all connections and fittings for leaks etc. You should not have a CEL unless something is loose or disconnected.

My car threw a CEL on first start after installing my roto-fab also. I went over everything and it was all connected correctly. I just cleared the code and it never came on again.

Okay disconnected the connections for the breather canister & map sensor. I think the map sensor connection wasn't good. CEL Gone..... Now noticed 2 other issues one with the WW relocate & Big Gulp. I"ll start 2 other threads later today. Man I hate doing something for the first time.

Did you or the OP turn on the ignition while the MAF was unplugged? Maybe to listen to the radio? That would set a code.

If turning the car on, but not starting it will set a code then that might have been my problem. After installing the WW relocate i turned the car on to make sure it was operating correctly, but never started the car. The OEM Air filter and housing was disconnected at the time. Makes installing the WW relocate reservoir easier.
