I would like to see a pull with the exhaust butterfly already open instead of having to wait which why it gets that little jump in power.

The Edmunds dyno runs are almost always on the generous side. In fact, the long-term Camaro that they used for comparison against the C7 is one of the few realistic runs that I've seen them publish, which makes me suspect that they might be getting ringers from the factory to test. In any case, I wouldn't expect typical C7s to put 411 to the wheels on a regular basis. 390-something is probably going to be the norm that you see stock cars putting down.

Yeah, Edmund's is a little over zealous at times. I'm always skeptical of their info. Let's put it this way, I give this info the same amount of trust as the info on the next Mustang losing 400lbs. If they're both true, that's outstanding, however I will withhold excitement...for now.

There's a thread on ls1tech from the place that actually did the test but I wasnt sure if I could post the link since its was to a separate site and there not sponsors.

Go for it.

We don't mind when users link to outside sites. Group buys, and advertising for non-sponsors is a bit of a different story. But additional info directly related to a discussion topic? Go right ahead.

This. I remember everyone making a big deal out of their dynos of the GT500 (600 hp) and the 5.0 (395 hp). Good way for the manufacturers to get some extra buzz.

Seen quite a few GT500's around 600. But the 5.0 making 395...not a chance
