M6 Questions
I have a 2011 V6 with a manual transmission.
I have read about the 1-2 grind, but my issue doesn't really seem like a "grind." When I shift from 1 into 2 I have to "pull" the shifter into gear. It hangs up and I can't make a smooth shift. I have changed the fluid with Royal Purple and installed a Hurst shifter but the problem remains. Is this the typical grind or is this something else? The car has 63,000± miles. Would this be covered under the driveline warranty? Any help would be appreciated. My 2004 Saab shifts more smoothly and it is driving me nuts. |

What you described is the 2nd shift grind. Even if it really isn't "grinding", that's the name this issue has been given.

I enjoy driving the Camaro so much that if I could drive it in my sleep I would! I miss torque of a V8 but this is still a ton of fun.
