First Modifications: Cosmetic versus Peformance?

I just sold my 2004 Dodge Viper, and within a month had sellers remorse. I saw this 2011 Convertible Camaro 1SS and fell in love with it. After reading hundreds, if not thousands, of all your post on modifications, I decided to try some. The major questions, was whether to do cosmetic mods versus performance..... and I went with cosmetic first. Below is the list of what I did....and some pics...

1) Hurst shift
2) Installed Halo lights
3) Installed blacked out front and back side markers.
4) Installed HUD system-thanks to all of your threads on how to do it-especially Ofer!
5) Installed Rear view camera - with rear view mirror.
6) Installed ambient lighting on the door panel and the dashboard.
7) Installed a rear Red lighted Bow tie.
8) Installed new tail lights.
9) Installed new reverse lights.
10) Installed G5CR air intake.
11) Custom 20 inch Lorenzo wheels
12) Installed new fog lights.
13) Installed sports bar-roll over bar.
14) Installed lighted wind restrictor.

Maybe a twin turbo or supercharger next...........

How did you get the blue interior light up trim and the door panels to light up?

The door panel lighting was a very long, and time consuming process. Eventually I used LED strips pointed away from the panel that reflected off some foil tape-that way the individual lights bulb didn't show and it gave the illusion of one long tube of blue lights.

Great looking car, nice job. 2 questions, which car do you like better, this or the viper? Do you like your windscreen? Thinking about adding it to mine

I loved the viper.... That being said, as I am doing more and more modifications on this car, I am liking it more and more.... Once the supercharger is installed, it may pass the viper ...... The wind restrictor is so cool at night. It lights up in blue and really gives the car a unique look at night. I would recommend it, and it was pretty easy to install.
