How do they paint on carbon fiber? Is it a similar process to the bowling ball look from 10 years ago?

Looks like it was done with a silverware drawer mat and a can of spray paint. To each his own

Just a thought but wouldn't it have been similar price to buy a carbon fibre hood to what the airbrushing cost?
