2012 Tonneau Cover Redesign?

Based on the pictures of have seen of the 2011 covers my 2012 is different as you can see. Looks like they redesigned it. This side is torn so I have to get a replacement but you get the idea.

Thanks for the update and pic!

Do you happen to know whether this new tonneau cover can be used / is compatible with the previous bolts used for the clip-on tonneau or are different "anchors" used for the elastic tonneau? I'd really be intersted in finding out about that.

Yeah the new bolts seem a bit wider than the old bolts, but its elastic it would fit around yours (2011) and probably be quite snug too the new system is MUCH better

We had the tonneau cover on for 150 miles last night 70+ MPH with no issues. Very staple and no movement at all.

I drove to Indy & back abt 230 miles one way & 70+mph without any probs. The front side didn't move at all & the back just had a little shimmy shake at the corners that was hardly noticeable. I would however like to see a redo that is a little more installation friendly so to speak.

Mine is the same, I wonder if it's torn or supposed to be that way. Curious to see what you find out.

That's not torn, it's just the ends of the bungee. What they should have done is wrapped that in the middle so you couldn't notice.

This might sons stupid and perhaps its just the pic, but is the tanneau material entirely different? Looks more like a fabric apposed to the vinyle type I have...

I I let mine in NC by accident. Won't have it back until next week. Let me see if some of the 7/18 TPW guys can answer the question.
