GM exhaust question

Has anyone got the GM catback exhausts? (corsa/mbrp)... also has anyone gotten the kooks headers from GM? are they any good?

From what I understand, Kook's headers are among the high-end manufacturers. Catback choices are all relevant to how you want the car to sound. Can't really go wrong with any.

I have Kooks 1-7/8 long tubes, american thunder exhaust with no cats. Sounds awesome.

I bought the GM exhaust upgrade for my 2LT. It has a great sound going thru the gears. I've gotten a lot of compliments. It's not too loud cruising at highway speeds. I would compare it to my stock '80 Z-28 exhaust.

The GM kits are "axle" back only. They're manufactured by Borla. I went the Magnaflow route and got the #16483 3" with X pipe CAT back installed for less than the GM axle back only systems. It really woke the car up. Hit up Jordan over at JDP Motorsports he's always got the lowest prices around! Jordan@JDPMotorsports.com

My wife got me the GM axle back for Christmas. I like the sound a lot...no drone...not too loud unless I'm on it. I can't help but wonder what an X pipe would do to it though. I want strong and deep just this side of "punk".

in my opinoin if people are complaining that the exhaust is to loud they dont deserve a camaro. its a muscle car its suppose to be loud and abnoxious.
