Looks like about a 1/2" difference from the other thread. Same height as 1LE now.

Do you mean an October 2016 built 2017 model year? Then yes.

I’m taking mine in tomorrow. I’m sure they will look it over (scratch the paint somehow or use the rocker panels as sidesteps) and then send me on my way saying they have to special order the parts.

Stock is about 5 5/8" at the nose, but the air diverter drops down further as you near the front wheels. The lowest part there is about 4.5". The front tire makes contact with the ground about 13" behind that point.

The nose likely drops proportionately to the spring difference observed in 2018 models.

As others have said, I don't see the difference between the two.... OP has updated the thread and it would be hard to see a 5/8" difference in those shots.

I think its night and day...
LOOK at my SIG, look how high the front is.
Realize this....

Rear is a 2 finger gap for me
Front is 3 1/2 finger gap.
Front with new springs should level the car.

Can we raise or lower (easily) the stock suspension like the vettes? There is a little threaded pad on the vette that makes it easy.

not like a vette...you must swap springs. A spring swap is pretty simple.

Not possible. The suspension setups are completely different since you are talking coil springs/shocks vs leaf springs/shocks.

2018 cars are more than likely built with these updated springs.
My luck usually doesn't run like this, but my car was built on April 13th. 2.5" opening.

I can tell the difference! I hope this turns out to be true but really do not understand why GM would give away springs when it is a none safety item. If they replace things on looks they owe me like 500 bucks to replace the ugly rear stock lights with there black ones and 1LE third brake light. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that someone actually gets this accomplished.
