I just checked and mine are backed off a little bit, maybe 10°. Might be a new periodic maintenance item! Wonder if new nuts, staking, or some loctite would be the best method, I think staking.

How can you stake? Someone said there is no holes in the axle...

I just checked mine and they seem fine, but I don't see how ya'll can see the torque marks given all the corrosion but it looks like ya'lls didn't have the corrosion problems mine do.

And yeah I don't see that mine have a tab on the nut.

Mine are backed off a tiny bit from the mark but they have little tabs that are bent into the axle slot so it doesn't fully back off.

When I went to tighten mine I didn't get really anything out of them, going to look at how the tabs are setup in the axle later.

Wish my nuts had tabs... (not really, that might hurt!)

Were your factory marks still lined up?

Also anyone that doesn’t torque them should rethink it. It seems that the factory left some of these loose and marked them as good.

The driver's side backed off slightly, got 3200 miles on it and 2 track days. The passenger side has paint on the axle threads but not the nut.......not helpful. Plan to take to the dealer and get some new nuts and install with loctite. My axles do not have keyways cut into them, so no way to stake them.
