PCV hose?

Anyone know of an easy way to remove the PCV hose from the back of the intake?

should just unclip...

Front side is the larger rubber piece.

Back side is the smaller plastic piece.

It really doesnt get any easier than this....

2017+ has an annoying disconnect on it. Not the same as 2016 a lot of people break them.

Wouldn’t be nearly as bad if you could actually see it.

When I did my catch can I unhooked the front side but I just cut it with it mounted on the car rather than mess with the rear connection.

My problem is I can't even feel the fitting, it goes under a piece of metal.

Try contacting Jason@ or have a shop remove it it's a Pain in the ass to do without a tool GM dealerships and most repair shops have the tool. Maybe check a local auto parts store see if they have a rental tool.

I ordered new PCV hoses because I couldn't find the quick connect fittings anywhere. I received the hoses today, and have a better idea of where the fitting is. Sadly i wasn't able to get to the catch can installed, will need more hose and possibly other fittings/adapters for a clean install. I was able to do the clean side separator.

New PCV hoses

Cut off the fittings, will keep the center fitting for when I install the GM intake.

For what ever reason the braided hose upgrade isn't available on the CSS. So i picked up some -8 and -6 hose from my local speed shop.

So they are the same or very similar on the 2017s as the 2016. Maybe they changed half way through.

Good install
