Your telling me that a private reveal is better that the 808,000 people that attend the NY Autoshow seeing that car in person?

Probably not better but good enough for Chevy. They got to have a lot of Camaro owners show up, the V6 and Z/28 hot laps and the entire thing be about Camaro.

Im sure it was a good event. All im saying is if they would let the public actually See the damn car, they probably would have alot more sold right now. Honestly, how many of you guys have actually seen one in person? I just cant see spending $45k on a car i never even sat in or test drove.

A good number of us have seen more than one in person at this point. Hell some of us have even driven them.

By the way OP, there was a Find New Roads event in Boston on October 24th you could've gone to, and the Connecticut Auto Show is on November 20th. They may have the 6th gen there.

Of course all you guys living south of Virginia are all laughing at me right now and can drive their sports cars all year round!
Well. I'm laughing at you from California.

Cheers.

Also. This isn't an iPhone. It takes time to get them rolled out. I don't think Chevys plan was to release 5 million Camaros with test drive models available on an exact date at every single dealership and sell each one like hot cakes. Most people can handle waiting a few weeks for them to hit lots.

It is fairly ridiculous of Chevy not to personally fly the OP out to the reveal and hand him the keys to his 2017 ZL1 (in 2015, mind you). They really dropped the ball there. Especially since they did the same thing for everyone else. I know I've been enjoying mine ever since!

Damn GM. Sorry OP. You'll probably get one of the 3800+lb ones that only make 385RWHP. Hopefully they'll include the black track wheels free of charge.

Just the thought of having to wait another year and a half for a 1LE will make me want to go buy something else.
Dealers are idiots. Most of them don't know anything about what they sell and just make things up as they go.

Yup, Chevy can redesign there pickup trucks and 4 door sedans twice in one year, but it takes them 2 years to get a car people actually want into a dealership!

If it's really such a problem for you, just pretend that Chevy hasn't announced it, and wait until you can go see it in person and test drive it.
