I just bought another ZL1. This time it’s a 2019.

2 years after the loss of my 2018 ZL1 in a crash I bought a 2019 ZL1.

Solid Bushings for rear cradle

Today I dropped off the ZL1 at Riddin High Sittin Low in Tracy, CA. Aaron is installing the Chevrolet Performance solid aluminum bushings in the rear cradle. Aaron did a great job on my 2018 ZL1 and I look forward to picking up my car from his shop this week.

Congrats on the new car! It looks like you're starting down the same mod path eith the cradle bushings. Are you changing anything up on this car?

This is one of the most informational build threads. Thanks for taking the time to give every detail on how you got to 9s with your previous build. Looking forward to seeing your new one come along.

This Build will be an Ultimate Build it will take much longer to do. Currently I’m doing basic mods to hold me over. I am confident this build will be a break through to a whole nother level of what a 6th Gen ZL1 can do.

This is what forums are all about Newchevyman. It’s about sharing knowledge with one another so we all together as a whole can progress, build and fix problems. I’m glad this has helped you.

This thread made me laugh. I posted in the beginning (Post 18) where I said I couldnt imangine paying 4k for an exhaust, but that it would take me losing a race for me to say damn the money, and 3 years later thats what happened. Lost to a GTR, next thing you know Im paying 5k for a GT Haus exhaust and 750hp worth of mods with CSP....and just dropped her off last Thursday for a 2650 upgrade....lol When I read post 18, I didnt realize it was I that wrote it and was about to respond to it when I realized and the laughter insued...

Thanks for your post. Yeah you definitely thought I was crazy for paying that much for exhaust lol. Your car has come a long way in 2 years I’m super happy for you to get what you really wanted but didn’t really want to spend that much.

Yea man at the time the car was too new, and dropping serious cash on it seemed crazy. But after awhile the car doesnt seem as fast or in my case got dusted off by a semi bolt on GTR and thats all it took..lol Hopefully this 2650 upgrade ends my round of mods for her.

I’m smiling as I read that. I highly doubt that’s going to be your last mod because of when you lose you upgrade. There will always be someone faster. Sometimes we have to step back and smell the roses and appreciate what we really have. Competition is really fun tho! You have a Bad ass Ride for sure!

Please post your impressions about the "before and after" for this mod.
Thanks
