Dynos on which turbo? The Mitsubishi upgrade, no, as they don't yet exist.

I'm starting to lose hope for the Mitsubishi upgrade due to the complete lack of progress on their part. As you said, it was supposed to be out by Q2 2017, and now we're discussing Q1 2018.... As much as I'd love to see it, I don't think it's gonna happen any time soon. I'd advise anyone else waiting for this turbo to go with turbobay or to build their own!

FAST - Z54 WINS - It's going to move more air than the Mitsu stock upgrade. ZZP quotes 480whp in a Cobalt SS, pretty reasonable to expect the same on an LTG equipped vehicle. Mitsu stock upgrade will be between 425-450whp (this is where the Mitsu stock upgrade performs when bolted on to Evo's).

CHEAP - Z54 WINS - ZZP is selling them for Cobalt SS applications at $1199. Mitsu upgrade will ballpark around $1700-$1800 (based off current Evo model pricing).

RELIABLE - MITSU WINS - From the research I've done so far, it appears the Z54 is a reworked K04. I've seen a sig on one of the Cobalt SS forums that says something to the effect that "K04's are considered consumable items"... Regardless of that witticism, it's a reworked turbo to ZZP's specs, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe those are built 'in house'. I don't recall ever seeing anything that would indicate that ZZP has the requisite hardware to rebuild/balance a turbo. Whereas MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) is a Tier 1 OEM supplier. No major automotive manufacturer is calling ZZP to build their new turbos, they're calling MHI. This is just my opinion, sprinkled with a couple facts. I have ZERO practical experience with either unit presently, so consider this just to be my thought process.

Honestly the best upgrade you can do is to have a custom exhaust manifold made, then you could run any turbo you want. There are MUCH cheaper turbo options out there that will make far more power than either of these will.

If power is what you want, run the 7163 and be done. https://zzperformance.com/ecotec/tur...zfr-turbo.html

Meaning it didnt make anymore power? I've seen some pretty good results out of the turbo bay setup. Just wanting to see more videos of them or dyno charts.

If I can get a 3D model I will totally print some out of plastic so at least it made it to multiple 3D printed prototypes!
