Dual performance exhaust on automatic?

Do they still advise against it? I know on Gen 5 the dealer typically did because of AFM and/or drone.

Also, if not, do the different settings still work then like Sport, Track, Stealth, etc?

It was never available on the 5th gen automatic so not sure what your dealer was talking about. And yes, like the c7 all the modes will be available, and there is no drone.

That's what I meant, the dealer did advise against it. I thought you could still choose to have it put on though.

It has been developed to work with AFM. There is an additional flapper valve in there to control and eliminate drone in the system while in 4 cylinder mode. C7 uses this setup for both A8 and M7 because both trans have AFM. So Camaro will be the same, NPP on A8 and M6 cars (yes M6 does not have AFM like C7 M7).

As stated above, it was never an option for automatics until now (6th Gen) for Camaro. You should be able to go down and hear it on a C7 vette

Unless you go to your dealership and it's battery is dead.

Heh, yeah, my dealer pulled out the battery charger, used the hidden key in the fob to open the hatch so he could plug in the charger - afaik, the only way to enter the vehicle due to the door poppers.

Started it up on the showroom floor, the exhaust was at least partially open. After about 30 seconds you could hear that LT1 become a LOT quieter.

I know the Camaro 4-2-1 headers aren't quite as tuned as the equal-length Corvette headers, but if it sounds anywhere near that, I will enjoy it very much.

Must be nice, I haven't seen or heard of anyone getting in on an Auto. Would love to see or hear it if you know of any videos.

I've heard it on the SS but couldn't guess if its L99 or LS3 because they are passing by most of the time it sounds great.as for the V6 you can really feal the difference.it got a really nice European tone, very similar to the porsche boxter sound.

Most C7 owners must love it as 87% of 2015 Stingrays were ordered with the NPP exhaust.
