I told the dealer that after delivery, I don't want their detailers to wash it, in fear of swirlies.
My plan is to take delivery, and drive it directly to a proper detail shop, get it washed and have a 6-month wax put on, as well as window tinting.

Well how much could 4 miles of concrete paving possibly cost?
Am in the same boat. My road is oil & rock. They redo it every 3 to 5 years. However this year, they did all the North-South roads & East -West. Essentially locked into traveling roads with seriously loose gravel. The biggest issue was seeing the guy driving a 1970's van blasting down the road at 80 mph. Exaggerating, but the biggest piles of **** did not care about their own vehicles, nor yours. So it is not really an issue of how careful you are. |

My dad was looking into getting the 1/3rd mile road from the main road to his driveway paved.
Best bid came in at $50k, and since it would have only been split among 4 houses, it was deemed "not worth it".

I was joking. There is a reason the county has left it as a rocked road.

Gravel is horrible on tires as well. Plus a section of my road is like a washboard.
