Hood latch set a bit too high, fixed myself.
Steering wheel not perfectly centered, fixed under warranty. Illuminated sill plates peeled up on both sides, fixed under warranty. No creaks, no rattles, no paint issues, nothing else I can remember. Drives like a dream and pulls hard.

Air lift performance. Is the name of the company, you get looks, quality, and performance. Aftermarket beats oem almost every time. (Air lift sucks on sports cars) have you tried it ? They sponsor many racers in many different fields, all using air ride. Also lowering ur car lowers the center of mass so more performance. Can’t decide if I’ll go with bags or if a 1” spring kit will be good enough. But like you said mainly for looks lol that other shit is just my excuse to put it on 😂😂

I am from the Cincy area also, living in Ross. Look up SWOCC (southwest ohio camaro club) and come join the fun.

sorry brother. take it to the dealership. If your warranty is expired than i would tackle one thing at a time.

The shifter rattle is a known problem. There is a TSB out for it, it is an easy DIY fix. Found this thread addressing it: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=436672 The transmission and clutch noise is normal. I have it too. There are several threads about this. For me it is mainly a problem when going into 2nd gear at low RPM. I believe that Tremec (the gearbox manufacturer) has a fix for some of the other applications where the TR6060 is used, as far as I remember the fix is an improved syncro for 2nd gear. Don't quote me on this, I can't seem to find the source. A lot of members have had good/better experiencing by shifting to another gear oil. You'll get rid of the diff groan by replacing the rear diff fluid. The dealerships will do this under warranty. Otherwise it is an easy DIY job and relatively inexpensive, just use the OEM LSD diff oil. For paint chips, there is an OEM paint chip repair tool (ACDelco). Looks pretty straight forward and easy to use including both paint and clear coat. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=59 |

I'm on my second Gen 6 Camaro. My past 2017 did have the trans shudder- it's just a defect on the A8, not specific to the Camaro- in a lot of GM product- Corvette, Colorado and GM trucks. It had no other defects. My current 2016 has been great, no issues in the few months that I have owned it.

Friends
Thanks to all the people who commented.
Didn’t expect that lol I appreciate the help, it was more of a rant then anything. I’ll be posting tons of suspension and performance mods, the car will be murdered out debadged and lowered, shooting for around 650 wheel with a pro charger. So stay tuned. I think you’ll like it. |

No problem after 3 years on my 2016 Camaro. Only thing I'm dissatisfied about is the oil monitoring system. I can't drive the car more than 1,500 miles without the damn computer telling me my oil life is down to 5% and its time to change the oil.

I think the A8 is way to busy but I just ignore it. The one thing I wish they would have considered is the elbow room for your right elbow. I rest my hand on the shifter but after awhile my elbow is uncomfortable. Not much of a console.
