Pacific North West Tuners

I know this is a long shot, does anyone know of any tuners in this part of the country that can tune the 2.0 platform?

Are you looking to bring it into a shop?

I think Trifecta Performance is in Seattle, and they do a ton of LNF/LTG work.

Ideally yes, I could do remote if that's my only option though.

Thanks for the heads up. They are pretty close to where I live. Trying to do some research on them. Kind of a mixed bag, some people say their great and others not so much. I think they got kind of a bad rap on here from a while back or something if I'm remembering correctly. I'll keep searching and reach out to them directly.

Here's the issue with trifecta performance they have a bad rap on here for a few reasons the two main reasons.

they use proprietry software to tune your car which means they lock it and make it nigh impossible to revert back to stock without their help.

You being local to them that should be as easy as a visit depending on their lackluster customer service record for most on here.

The second reason they are looked on poorly may be an issue for you later on. They tuned the V6 3.6L 5th Gens they were hit or miss some people liked them others not so much but you do your research and deal with your decisions, some were better at it then others and Trifecta suffered for it but when they stopped helping, retuning or communicating with existing customers they tuned back a few years ago and with the locked proprietary software well people were pissed they disappeared from the forums til the 6th gens came out for a few years probably thinking no one was around who remembered.

They will never be someone to use in my own book. I know I've not always been the most popular person in here but I never knowingly post information to hurt peoples modification process and my temper oftentimes get's the better of me but I don't like when people are taken advantage of by companies who play hide and seek thinking bygones will be bygones.

But again your relatively local to them so maybe not an issue I dunno I just wouldn't trust them to pull the same shit down the road.

Wow, thanks for the warning. I am starting to see the bad customer service already, no direct phone# to call, I sent an email and a F.B. message - no response. I think I'll hold off on them until I can get in contact and get some questions answered.

Still looks like ZZP is the best route. I wonder if BNR will ever come through with their tune... and there is the new kid on the block, Ryan Hostetler who has been very responsive with all of the communications I've had with him. Decisions.. decisions..

Not a warning just an opinion from my experience with what happened because i came to the LTG from a 3.6 LLT and got to witness the travesty first hand on here luckily not first hand in person.

I think ZZP is a good safe bet for remote tuning if you can't find a local shop although my own opinion is maybe Trifecta has a dyno and if they do probably have HPTuners that may be a safer option it's not their tune i have an issue with after all and you can't currently lock HPTuners to my knowledge.

Never mind, they just got back to me, they don't do in-house tuning... unbelievable. Probably a blessing in disguise. The search continues...
