Underbody pics.......
Hello all,
I finally found time to put the car up on my lift to install to skip shift eliminator (very easy install) and I decided to take some under-body pics just in case anybody was wondering what it looks like under there. My car is a 12 ss vert m6 Enjoy! I started from the back to the front and tried to go in even sections. Keep in mind i'm in my Carage (car garage...get it) with a scissor lift. The 13th pic is where you install skip shift at. I have Borla axle backs soon to be replaced by complete ZL1 exhaust And last but not least...the mustang poster is gone Chris |

Nice. I have a general newbie question though, as I'm rarely under a car... In the 8th pic, I see the cats, then the O2 sensor (downstream I assume) but what is the second set of canisters (one on each pipe)? Resonators? Also where is the other set of O2 sensors (upstream? I just don't see them...) Thanks!

as long as I shift to 2,000 rpm, the skip shift doesn't activate for me.
Now the HSA is a different story... swapping that out this week! |

No worries on the lift. Its extremely stable. It used to lift Tahoes all day before I got it. I even had a vw toureg on there and thats a heavy beast. Its a lift by Mohawk.
http://www.mohawklifts.com/wp/consumer/. Mine is an older model, but still just as effective. Its the best thing since sliced bread. You dont have to crawl around on the ground anymore to work on car, and its portable. I work on a lot of different cars so it really makes life easy. I have a creeper that is now dusty! Anyhow yes the skip shift got pretty annoying after a while so for $15 bucks (from Craigslist) and a little of my time, that feature is gone. The display still shows in the dic but it no longer is active. Great investment! Chris |
