Laborsmith was correct in stating that the RTH wheels cannot be purchased on the 2LT RS. I was attempting to order this combo.

Only available black wheel options on the 2LT RS are:
$1995 black split spoke SHH.
black 5 spoke with the red outline SHL (believe they are $1995 as well)

It's not a mistake unfortunately. It is intentional and by design.

I confirmed it through my dealer, with Becky, and through customer service on the Chevy website.

Half way down the wheel and tire page here I posted the thread with my findings.

"The Black 5 Spoke wheels (RTH) for the 2LT are NOT available with the RS package.

This has been confirmed by both Becky and my dealer.

I don't really understand why this limitation would be in place - or if this is some kind of glitch in the ordering system. Perhaps it is by design as the RS package already includes 20" grey machined face split spokes.

Figured it would be good to share this info just in case someone else attempts to make this combination.

edit - investigated further:
"It looks as if the 20" wheels (5-spoke low gloss Black Aluminum) cannot be included with the RS Package. The RS Package includes the 20" 5-split spoke premium Gray-painted, machined-face aluminum wheels and the 20" 5-spilt spoke bright Silver-painted aluminum wheels." Chevy representative via the website chat feature.

So, it appears that the only black wheels available for the 1LT, 2LT RS, and the 1SS are the $1995 LPO black split spoke. As far as factory wheels go the black 5 spoke will be very rare to see on the camaro."

You can get these on the RS but your going to get two sets of rims. Buy your Car with RS package and order the black rims from your dealers parts department. You can't get them durect, but you can get them if you really really want them.

What is the story on the forged wheels? Aren't forged ususally lighter? When will they be available? Cost?

When I met Aaron Link at the SF FNR event, he told me that the low gloss black aluminium wheels will be available for the 1SS. Anybody here ordered a 1SS with this wheel or anyone has any confirmation on it availability?

The one that motor trend had was 1SS with 56V wheels, but it doesnt let me add online. However, Aaron said they will be available. Just confirming if someone was able to order these wheels with their 1SS

That's a great observation, because those wheels -technically- are not orderable for that car. The black 5spokes are only supposed to be available for the 2LT (RTH $800) and the 2SS (56V $200).

Atra, the 56F is a split spoke black wheel (mis-print on the order guide by leaving the "split" off). You can see the 56F here on the website....
