Yes of course, I was responding to the comment "no tire grips well in the cold" Maybe you meant, no tire grips well when the tire is cold.
I've had very fast laps on cold mornings where my tires gripped nearly as well as on a hot day, once tires were heated properly. The normal tire heat seems to overcome ambient cold temps. |

If his car stock then it's much closer to mid 500s than 650...I'm sure we all know this.
R888R will hold. Dozens of post on them, even my own. They stick even in the cold. With all traction control off I can just mash the throttle from a stand still and hit 3.4s to 60 with them on a stock A10. The most you'll need is a few minutes of driving on them to warm them up or just stepping on the gas and try to break them a little loose. |

Speed Ventures is great and May is a good time for ACS, not too hot and should be no rain. I may be there too, going to Buttonwillow for 3 days with Speed Ventures 4/2-4/4
