More Codes After a Tune?
So I just had my car tune for the headers/exhaust and now it appears I have more codes than I did when I went in there.
Here's the list.... P069E P12E7 P12EC P12F4 P12F9 Looks like I also have a pending code of P0157 thats related to an O2 sensor. After some research it appears all the P codes are related to the AFM. So I guess my question is, what are my options? Ideally I'd like not to have any codes and no check engine light on, not sure if that's possible with headers and full exhaust with this car. Is it also possible the place where I had the car tuned didn't have enough experience with HP Tuners and tuning the newer Camaros? The place came highly recommended and the guy tuning the car seemed very knowledgeable so I hope that's not the case. The car was at 402 hp before tuning, after it was tuned it hit 420 hp. So he did find some gains. Any help is appreciated. |

Did you put the afm sensors back on your car with the new exhaust?

Have you discussed these issues with your tuner? They should be able to make appropriate corrections to your tune file.

I didn't notice the codes while I was there and I'm 80 miles away. It's a total PITA to get the car there because I have to take the day off work.

Hopefully they are open on a Saturday or something, or else you're gonna have to take a day off work to get this resolved. It's not going to magically resolve itself.

So the npp ones don’t need to be on, I don’t have them on my car but I believe the afm valves do need to be reinstalled for autos, I’d definitely give that a shot, I have no codes firing and I’m running mbrp race cat back with off road connection pipes/ kook headers.

The tuner can tune out those codes. They need to read out the FSCM with HP Tuners.
