What do I do?
The other day I was cleaning my Camaro. I have a 2SS so I have door sill lighting. Well, I was cleaning the inside of the door and swiped a rag over the door sill panel and caught the C in Camaro and peeled up the bottom of it and bent it... What should I do? I am currently covering it with tape so it doesn't ruin my door.

ive heard of this happening before. I hate the dealership, but you might have them take a look. If the lettering is fubar, it could be expensive to fix. See if its covered under warranty. Oh, and dont let them wash your car.

i assume you are still under warranty. Take it to the dealer for no cost replacement.

I read about this happening to other people or the letters simply peeling on their own. Xpel makes precut sill strips, so I put those on mine. It’s glossy, but I don’t worry about peeling or scuffs any more.

I had this exact problem. The 'C' came off, right (passenger) side sill.
Fixed at dealership under warranty. Part (sill plate) replaced. Sill plate is around 230 bucks, get it replaced under warranty. This seems to be a 'common' problem with the '17 2SS's |

I had this on my brand new '17 2LT RS. When I got home from the dealership on the day of purchase, I got out and noticed the two 'prongs' of the letter C had lifted up and were bent completely backwards. I bent them forward and slightly down again so they wouldn't catch or scrape on the door.
Took it back to the dealer the next day and they removed the entire C letter insert and ordered a replacement sill panel under warranty. Took about 10 business days for the new sill to come in, and about 45 minutes for them to install it. Remind them not to wash your car
