Yea I was thinking about having the secondary cut out and straight piped, then Buy the bolt in "test pipes" from caperformance to remove the primary cats. Have not seen anybody do this, but I want to keep the NPP.

I would say remove the primary cats and leave the resonators so it looks like you have cats if you get pulled over

Nice idea but don't want the issue of articial "knock" pulling timing and killing power. Also don't want to smell raw gas from the exhaust.

Just want a little more Roar from that great 6.2L V8! Don't mind if I have to cut the distal end of the pipe (I've already got the good kind of clamps that sleeve over and close any gaps https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-1176 ). Not worried about whether she makes more power or not. Just want to be able to do it in the driveway and enjoy!

C'mon David- make good on this commitment. We are ready to purcha$e!

Don't know what thread you're referring to- did you read any of mine?

Don't want to go catless. Don't want raw gas smell. And if your ECM is pulling timing, you'll never know it if you're not monitoring it with a tuner or got a helluva butt dyno.

Please be more specific.

I want to do this pretty badly, but I read that Chevy will try to void the warranty. I only had my car for 4 weeks so far, definitely not interested in losing the warranty.

My "Bullet Performance Cat Delete" thread where I deleted the primary cats. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=508279

Good for you...However there is no raw gas smell if you keep the secondary cats.

If you would of read my thread, you would of seen where I posted a HP tuners log showing no timing being pulled, fuel trims are in check.
