The fenders looked so wide (and cool! ) I assumed they were bigger on our cars. I stand corrected.

BTW, any idea of the top speed in the 1LE given a long enough straight? 170? 175?
I got to 150 at Charlotte in my 1LE.

Randy is the man indeed. I am just noticing a "trend" that he is becoming a TV show host. Look at MT H2H GT-R vs
Nismo GT-R, looks like he has replaced the of the hosts (Jason?). Also, look at how many different automotive publications and auto makers use him to "vouch" for their cars. He uses very careful language when describing car dynamics and attributes, never openly critical. He has become an affirmation of sort for us amateur drivers in order to validate our choice of car (s) whatever that happened to be. Nothing wrong with that of course, he is smart to transition, can't race professionally forever.

I got to 148 MPH at the end of the straight at Auto Club Speedway roval, about 128 MPH through the apex of Turn 1.

That was another track I thought might yield 150MPH.

I've seen many videos with 140+, it appears gearing and aero slow the rate of increase.

I am going to Summit Point Friday where I hope to get to 140, we'll see.
