Jannetty Racing experience
Hi guys. I am usually too lazy to write a long review, but I need to make an exception in this case.
Joining the forums was the best thing I have done since I got my car. All of the information on here is priceless. After a lot of thought I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Procharger kit for my car. After reading a lot of Ted Jannetty's post I decided to get the kit through him based on the fact that I also wanted him to tune the car for me later on. Seeing his responses to certain things made it pretty obvious that he is a very good tuner and knows his stuff. So after doing some homework on the kit I wanted, I gave them a call and talked to Kris Girouard (and order through him whenever I call now). The order was processed right away. I waited for my kit for a while, over a month, but not because of Jannetty, it was a small issue that Procharger had with their intercooler stock. Kris and Ted both kept in touch with me and kept me in the loop. At one point Ted even gave me the option of cancelling the order and going with something else, although I chose to just wait a little longer. Finally Kris gave me a call to let me know he had a tracking number for me. Which I checked periodically to see when it would be here so I could schedule the time for me to install it myself and be ready for it. (and by periodically I mean every 10 minutes or so clicking refresh on my app that I downloaded only to keep track of this one order). The kit arrived, which was a P1Sc1 with Race IC and Race Bypass. I had it installed in just under 6 hours and flashed the canned tune via the included SCT. Drove it home and I was pretty happy. I will be completely honest and say that although I could clearly see an increase in power specifically at higher RPMS, I did think there would be a little more than that. It also seemed that not being in boost the car had almost lost some power down low. I drove it this way for a couple of days until I finally did a highway run and in 3rd gear while mashing the throttle I noticed that after 5300RPM the car would fall on its face as if it was losing fuel. So then I messaged Ted about possibly taking a look and maybe doing a remote tune. He looked at the logs and noticed that it was running out of fuel at the higher RPMS, which at first seemed as if the HPFT/injectors/in tank pump could not be supplying enough fuel. After a couple more logs it was clear that it was running very rich, and this is why it was losing fuel at those RPMS. He did tell me that I may need to do these fuel upgrades, but that it would be worth it to do a tune to see if once all the tables were correct, maybe the components were fine for now. He also offered to give me a great discount due to the fact that I bought the supercharger through him. I couldn't say no to that! I already had HPtuners Pro so that helped a bit. Next step was to call Kris back and order the 3 bar map sensor that I needed for accurate boost readings and such. I called at 3:00PM on a Friday, paid for it as well as the tune cost, and he told me I should have the part by Monday. Well it was in my mailbox when I got home from work Saturday afternoon at 1PM. That is pretty damn fast and all I could think of was did this guy just drive the part to my house and leave it in my mailbox? Installed it on Monday and flashed the tune that Ted sent me to activate the sensor and such. From that point until now, I did exactly as he said as far as driving the car and logging it correctly. After about 5 total tunes and logs, this car feels like a completely different vehicle. And I do not mean because it has a supercharger on it. I mean from the original tune with the procharger to the way it is now. Both low RPM and all the way up to redline, the thing is literally scary to drive. In a good way. And all of the readings I am getting while logging are incredible. I hit 8.8PSI on a WOT 3rd gear pull. But more importantly the MAF table is smooth as butter, the injector pulse %'s are down to about 5.3 (from 8 at times), fuel pressure is holding, and AFR's are perfect. I will be doing the ZL1 in tank pump because its close to maxxing out, but its fine for right now. I literally feel better and more confident driving the car after seeing what he did with it. Now heres the thing, I am a repair shop that is affiliated with a local Chevrolet dealer and I get pretty good discounts on parts. I could have gotten the MAP sensor a little cheaper than what they charged me, and I can get the in tank pump cheaper than what they will charge me. However, if I buy this stuff from Ted, he will modify the tune accordingly just because I got the parts from him. To me that is worth much more, especially considering the things he has already done to my car without ever even physically touching it. I will eventually be getting my car down to him, since he is only an hour and a half away, for a dyno to see how much power she pulls. Last but certainly not least is the communication aspect. If I told you that his response times were fast that would be a complete understatement. This guy LITERALLY emails be back faster than I receive text message responses from my wife. And that is the truth. Half of the time that also includes a tune file that he modified in that time frame. From start to finish this company is the real deal. Give them a shot and you will NOT be disappointed. -Phil |

This is awesome!. It was your experience working with Ted that made it an easy decision of who I would have to tune my car and get it running like yours. Looking forward to a similar experience!.
