Rear wheel arch dent/ding removal?

Hi Guys

I have a small ding on the left REAR wheel arch, but I understand this area MIGHT be inaccessible due to the double skinned wheel arch area. (I'm getting conflicting info about where the double layer starts/ends).

Does anyone know for sure if the location of this dent is concealed by the double skinned wheel arch area? And if so, would removal of the rear bumper/tail light give access to the back of the panel?

Thanks

Have you thought about heating it up and then placing an ice bag on it? May just pop it out, instead of removing the inner wheel well. Just a suggestion.....

I'm not sure but you might be able to use a suction cup to pull it out.

or from inside the trunk

My advice to you is to contact a paintless dent removal tech and have him decide if he can or cant fix it. And if he can repair let him do it. They do great work.

x2

even if you push it out yourself you may stretch the metal and it will still be wavy. $100 they will probably fix that

Totally fixable with paintless dent removal.

I had a dent removed at the very top corner of the flat portion of the wheel arch. The PDR guy said that if it was any lower, he would not be able to fix it.

Yes, call a pro. Not much $. They have special tools that will pull that out.

A guy pulled out a dent on the corner of my truck cab once. I could not believe it!

That can be fixed using pdr process. Take off the interior plastic panel cover inside the vehicle, and there is a huge factory hole for access. Whale tail or hockey stick pdr tool to remove dent.... I'm a PDR tech

I had one PDR guy come to check it, he was perhaps just not great, but was unsure of getting it out due to access.

Texas RS- any plans to come to So Cal?! I'll use your PDR services!

Got it out with another PDR guy. What a relief. I found this pic online and we got access to the back of the panel (see arrow in green) to get the dent out completely.

I'm also posting a pic of the access hole from the interior that Texas RS mentioned.

Hope the pics help someone.
