This picture shows the clearance using the OEM Camaro spare and a 2.5" wheel spacer. It just barely clears the roller skates with the large wheel spacer. The roller skates stick out pretty far.
Do you know what the offset is of the v6 spare is?

I never used my spare for my SS but it's in there. I don't believe in cars with no spare. I bought it and fits fine in wheel well. I have 4 tires for it so no having to buy a new tire in a while though it's only got 31k on it

Where did you get the spare from? To my knowledge Chevy only included spares on the v6 models.

does the ModernSpare one fit on both front and back? Did you have to do anything extra or buy anything extra to have it fit in the spare tire well? I just got bit in the back by not having a spare... spent 4 hours on the side of the highway waiting for a flat bed.

This is one of my big concern too. I take it that the fix a flat didn't work?

It's not factory. It's aftermarket with spacer, jack and tire tool

Fits both front and back. Remember this ain't no tire. This is a spare to get to where you can replace the factory tire. Not saying here but I see it all too often, ppl using a donuts as a tire. I say to myself you dumb son of a bitch lol

Agreed. Other than the shut it down part. Let's figure this out. Can anyone verify this will fit on my 2011 SS?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it will fit SS. I am talking to the vendor, and they are claiming that it also fits over the 6 pistons. If they'll guarantee the fitment on the ZL1 calipers I am going to buy it and then I can answer everyone's questions for you all.

I thought it was odd it didn't come with a spare as well. But seeing as I was going to be buying new wheels I just put a tire on one of the stock front wheels and threw it into the trunk. Haven't needed to use it yet.
